The City of Quinte West is hiring paid election workers for the 2026 municipal election, happening Oct. 26, 2026. Election workers play an important role by administering a fair, accessible and positive voting experience during advanced voting days (Oct. 14, 17 and 20) and on Election Day (Oct. 26).

Available positions 

The City of Quinte West will be hiring for various positions to support the 2026 municipal election.

Eligibility

Election workers should be:

  • At least 16 years old
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Able to use a computer
  • Friendly, reliable and able to provide excellent customer service 
  • Available to attend mandatory training and work during advanced voting days (Oct. 14, 17 and 20) and/or on Election Day (Oct. 26)
