City of Quinte West hiring for October Municipal Election

The application period to work in the 2022 Municipal Election has closed. Successful candidates will be notified directly.

The City of Quinte West is hiring temporary, paid workers for the 2022 Municipal Election. Election officials will assist with voter help centres in Quinte West between Oct. 11 and Oct. 24, 2022.  

“Working in the Municipal Election offers an opportunity to serve your community and learn more about local government while developing your professional skills,” said Interim City Clerk Virginia LaTour. 

The City is seeking applicants who are personable and detail-oriented with strong literacy, math and analytical skills. Eligible applicants must be 16 years of age or older, a Canadian citizen and reside in Ontario. Election workers must participate in mandatory training and are required to work from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on advance voting days, Oct. 11, 12, 15, 18 and 22, and on Election Day, Oct. 24, 2022. 

Applications are available online at quintewestvotes.ca and in person at City Hall, 7 Creswell Dr., and the Frankford Municipal Office, 22 Trent St. North. 

The next Municipal Election is in October. Election Day is Monday, Oct. 24, with advanced voting beginning Tuesday, Oct. 11. For more information, visit quintewestvotes.ca
